what to expect
Beginning coaching with the Enneagram does not require any previous knowledge of the system. Prior to our first coaching session we will talk to discuss your type, and if it is unknown, I will provide screening tools and targeted questions to help you feel confident in your type. From there, we will work towards expanding your understanding of your type, identifying passions, fixations and behavioral patterns.
Once you have a good understanding of your type and the way it interacts with others, we will delve deeper into your short and long term goals, and come up with Enneagram based strategies to help you maintain forward progress and avoid potential pitfalls.
For most, Enneagram coaching will be a shorter-term endeavor (10-12 weeks), wrapping up coaching work as you move closer to your individual goals. Others tend to want to work through the Enneagram on a longer-term basis, opting to dive deeper into the nuances of the tool as a way to better understand themselves and achieve more meaningful relationships with others.
Upon request, I can provide individualized or group instruction on the Enneagram, which includes working with individuals to understand their individual type, while also providing an overview of the system and how each type interacts.
Whatever your goal, it is likely that a deeper understanding of the Enneagram and your own true nature will guide you to a healthier, more meaningful life.
